Im having trouble shorting out the J1 Jumper on Acer 5750G
I recently posted a question asking how to reset the BIOS password on a Acer 5750G, and I was told to short the J1 jumper. I have attempted this, however the jumper looks allot different to the picture I was given. It has an actual connector. I've attempted opening the laptop to remove the CMOS battery, but it seems to be quite stuck in there (blocked by plastic). Is there another solution to resetting the BIOS password, or can someone please assist me on jumping the circuits correctly.
